About 12th Night Klezmer

Manhattan-based “12th Night Klezmer” was formed in 2009 through collaboration between highly gifted musicians from Israel.

The ensemble members are regular participants at music festivals around the world and by founding the ensemble were seeking to bring traditional Jewish music to the front of the stage.

Going back to original sources from Eastern Europe with the Mentorship of Klezmer Masters David Krakauer and Giora Feidman, 12th Night Klezmer authentically recreates the spirit and sound of Klezmer Music.

Ensemble members:

Avigail Malachi, Clarinet
Kobi Malkin, Violin
Elad Kabilio, Cello
David Segal, Bass
Daniel Dor, Percussion

All musicians in the ensemble have been granted scholarships by the America-Israel Culture Foundation.
