Adva Hadida, born in Israel in 1990, started her clarinet studies at the age of 9 with Mr. Ilya Shwarts at the Karmiel Conservatory. She received her bachelor’s degree in the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance with Mr. Gilad Harel. In 2016 Adva received her Master’s degree in Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in conjunction with the Franz Liszt Musik Hochschule in Weimar (Germany) with Prof. of Mr. Andreas Langenbuch and Mr. Thorsten Johanns (Clarinetists with the WDR Symphony Orchestra Cologne).
During 2014-2016 Adva was a member of the “Tedarim Project”- a contemporary music program for outstanding young musicians of the ” Meitar Ensemble” and the Center for New Music. Adva was awarded the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship (2013-2015), Master’s Study Scholarship by the Jerusalem Academy for outstanding orchestra players and awarded Master’s Study Scholarship for outstanding foreign students in Germany by the DAAD.
Adva participated in master classes of Yehuda Gilad, Wenzel Fuchs, Sharon Kam, Philippe Berrod, Charles Neidich, Eli Even and Reiner Wahl. Between 2008 and 2010 served in the Israeli Defense Force Orchestra as a leading clarinetist. During this time, she studied with Mr. Ron Zelka (Israel Philharmonic Orchestra).
Adva is currently living and working in Israel as a substitute player in the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra’s program for Music Education, Israel NK Orchestra, Raanana Symphonette, Ashdod Symphony, Tel-Aviv Soloists Ensemble and the Jerusalem Opera Orchestra. She continues to perform as a soloist in various concert groups and recitals. Performed in radio chamber music shows which were recorded in Ein Kerem and Mishkanot Shaananim. In May 2017 she played in Felicja Blumental International Music Festival in Tel Aviv art Museum. Furthermore, Adva continues to work as a clarinet teacher in few Conservatories in Israel.
