Adva Kremer
Adva Kramer, born in 1990, is a multidisciplinary artist, holding an M.Des in Design and Technology from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and a Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Textile Design at Shenkar College. Kramer specializes in weaving, creating works that blend traditional textile techniques with advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and data analysis. This unique combination allows her to explore everyday moments and social and cultural processes, with a particular emphasis on relationships.
Her work has been showcased in a wide range of galleries and museums both in Israel and internationally. Notable exhibitions include solo shows at the Janco-Dada Museum (2022) and the Israeli art gallery and memorial center, Kiryat Tivon (2019), where she presented the body of work titled 'The Museum of Empirical Values.' She has also participated in group exhibitions at the Eretz Israel Museum, the Design Museum Holon, Art Market Budapest, Benyamini Contemporary Ceramics Center, and more. In 2018, she exhibited at the Fresh Paint Art Fair's Artist Greenhouse. Kramer is a recipient of the Azrieli Prize for Design for her undergraduate studies and the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship for Fashion and Textile Design for 2017-2018. Currently, she is completing her Master’s degree in the Design and Technology program within the Department of Industrial Design at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.
