Alberto Zilberstein
Alberto Zilberstein began his musical studies in his native Havana, Cuba. He graduated in the University of Arts in the speciality of “Viola Performance and Teacher”. He accomplished his Master Degree at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in 2014 and studying a Professional Performance Certificate at Lynn University Conservatory of Music.
Alberto started my musical studies at the age of 4 singing in a Chorus. At age of 7, he started his violin studies and later Piano studies. Music has been his life since then, and he always strives to transmit that passion to his students. He has played all around the world, in Israel, Europe, South Africa and USA. Played in Orchestras such as Havana Chamber Orchestra, Ashdod Symphony Orchestra, Israel Chamber Orchestra, Beersheva Sinfonetta and Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. Current Assistant Principal Violist at Miami Symphony.
Alberto has almost 15 years experience tutoring Viola, Violin and Piano. He had taught at Manuel Saumel elementary music school and Amadeo Roldan Music High School back in his native Havana, Cuba. He is always looking for new ways to engage the student with interactive games, and take advantages of technology. In South Florida, he had taught at The Conservatory School of North Palm Beach, a public k-8 school, Teacher at Spanish River Christian School Violin afterschool program, and Orchestra Conductor at John Leonard High School, teaching students from different ages, backgrounds and musical levels. He’s a current Certified Teacher by the Florida Educational Department.
