Allen Sunshine is a Tel Aviv–born music producer, DJ, and multidisciplinary artist with a deep-rooted passion for groove, movement, and self-expression. Known for his genre-blending sound that fuses Funk, Disco, Soul, R&B, Indie Pop, and Hip Hop, Allen’s mission is simple: to make people move — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
A lifelong student of rhythm, Allen’s journey began in Tel Aviv, where he studied theater and music composition at Ironi Alef, one of the city’s top performing arts high schools. He later honed his craft at Pluto Studios, one of Israel’s leading music production schools, where he learned the art of recording, editing, and mixing. A standout moment came during a competitive single-release project, where he was one of three students selected to produce and release a song for a real artist on Spotify — a hands-on experience that helped launch his post-army music career.
After completing his service in the Israeli Defense Forces’ elite intelligence unit — where he worked in transcription and translation at the highest level — Allen turned his focus to building a career abroad. He relocated to Australia, where he quickly became a local favorite in the Byron Bay music scene, working as a live sound engineer, DJing club nights and festivals, and hosting street parties that regularly drew hundreds. His infectious sets and signature dance moves earned him a reputation not just as a DJ, but as a party-starter and vibe curator.
Allen is currently producing original music under his artist name, focusing on lush grooves, tight drum production, and emotionally rich arrangements. His sound blends nostalgic textures with modern production, drawing inspiration from artists like Anderson .Paak, Tom Misch, Mayer Hawthorne, Jungle, and Kaytranada.
In addition to his own artistry, Allen works as a freelance music producer, helping vocalists and songwriters bring their visions to life through creative direction, beat-making, and vocal production. He’s also passionate about teaching, offering Ableton lessons and mentoring aspiring producers.
Now based between Tel Aviv and wherever the groove takes him, Allen Sunshine is a rising force in modern soul and dance music — driven by a vision of community, honesty, rhythm, and artistic integrity.
