Amir Rabinovitz
Amir Rabinovitz studied his bachelor’s in the Buchman-Mehta school of music in the classes of Eran Reemy and Ram Oren.
While and after his studies in Israel he played with many Israeli orchestras, such as the Jerusalem symphony orchestra, the Israeli symphony orchestra, and Jerusalem camerata. He then completed his Master’s in modern trumpet summa cum laude under Prof. Kristian Steenstrup at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark. During his studies there, he performed with several orchestras, including the Israel Philharmonic under the direction of Zubin Mehta and the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra conducted by Leif Segerstam. He then completed his Master’s in historical trumpet at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam under Nicolas Isabelle.
Amir is a member of the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra and regularly performs in Europe with the Netherlands Bach Society, the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century, and Ensemble Resonanz, among others.
In Israel Amir often plays as solo trumpeter of the Barrocade baroque collective and the Jerusalem baroque orchestra.
