Amit Rozenzweig

Amit Rozentsweig plays the Trombone for 16 years. Between the years 2009 -2012 served as Outstanding Musician at the IDF Education Force. Studied in Kfar Saba Conservatory, with the teacher Alex Chichlensky between the years 2000-2007. Between the years 2007-2009 studied with Daniele Morandini, principal trombone of the Teatro Alla Scala. between the years 2009 -2015 studying music performance bachelor at Buchmann – Mehta Music Academy, Tel-Aviv University, with the teacher Daniele Morandini and continue today with the teacher Micha Davis, the bass trombone player of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2015 studying the Bachelor of Music in Hochschule fur Musik und Theater Rostock with Jamie Williams principal trombone player of the Deutsche Oper.
Between the years 2006-2017 won Scholarships from the America- Israel Foundation. Between the years 2008-2012 participated Masterclasses at Buchmann – Mehta Music Academy, Tel-Aviv University, with trombone players as: Nitzan Haroz, principal trombone of Los-Angeles Philharmonic, Andrea Bandini principal trombone of de la Suisse Romande – Geneve, Simone Periccioli and Juan Manuel Real, principal trombone of Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana and between the years 2015-2016 participated in master classes with Andreas Klein, Henning Wiegraebe, and James Markey.
Since 2007 a substitute member of various orchestras and ensembles in Israel. between the years 2012 – 2015 was a member of the Israel Symphony Orchestra, Israel Opera Orchestra, as the bass trombone player of the orchestra. between the years 2015-2016 played as a guest player in several orchestras in Germany as the Norddeutsche Philharmonie and a tour to Russia with the Maestro Valery Gergiev with the Russisch – Deutsche Akademie. in 2016 recorded with the Mediterranean trombone Quartet for the North German Radio.
