KARMA SHE is the alter ego of artist Carmel Michaeli.
Born in 1986 in Jerusalem. She graduated from the BFA program in Central Saint Martins College in London and from The Bezalel Academy MFA program in Tel-Aviv.
Carmel embodies the performative identity of KARMA SHE, a witch who creates psychedelic Hip-Pop songs. In her art practice, she deconstructs the signs and symbols of both immediate and far away cultures into a surreal and sensual visual experience.
The project is a collaborative platform that involves other visual artists, performers, choreographers, dancers and designers. Together they create videos, performances, installations, and parties.
