Dafna Talmon was born in 1972, Beer-Sheva, Israel. Lives in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
Graduated from the Postgraduate Fine Art Program, Hamidrasha, Beit Berl. Dafna holds a BA and MA in geography, specializing in Urban Planning, from respectively, Tel Aviv University and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has been working as a professional photographer for more than a decade.
Worked as a journalist, in the tourism field. Her art combines photography, installation, video, text and performance. She exhibited in Israel, Poland and the USA.
Hyperactively moving through space, Dafna challenges forms and lifestyles. She examines relationships and separations, routine and rituals, escape, freedom, imaginary family normativeness, imprisonment and home.
