Dana Katz

Founded in 2010 by Danah Katz (MFA, New York University), Danaka Dance has been presented at the 92nd Street Y, LaMama Theater, Triskelion Arts, American Dance Festival, The Flea, The Suzanne Dellal Center in Tel-Aviv, MU Theater and IKI in Budapest, among others.
The company has received grants from The Kevin Spacey Foundation, American-Israeli Cultural Foundation, Israeli Lottery Council for the Arts, Emerging Jewish Artist Fellowship at New York University and the Israeli consulate in Spain, Canada and New York.
Katz is both an award-winning filmmaker and an extraordinary movement storyteller. As an artist, she celebrates over a decade of collaborative, investigative dancemaking and is dedicated to presenting work interlaced with other disciplines.
Her work has been commissioned and presented internationally in Tel-Aviv, Canada, Brazil, Bilbao, Japan, Montreal and at The Yard in Martha’s Vineyard.
