Dania Weiner
Born in Beit Lehem Haglilit, Israel, in 1985, Dania Weiner currently lives with her partner and son in Berlin. She is a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts, 2010.
Dania works with various mediums, including oil colors, ink, collage, photo transfer, charcoal and moss. The Majority of her practice relates to documented images of the Israeli society, through the lens of family members. She also uses photos of the Nazi Templer community that inhabited her hometown in the past.
Since completing her studies she has participated in several duo and group exhibitions, including ‘Cherries’ and ‘Ta’am Tov” at ‘Hayarkon’ gallery, “Painting Camp” at Be’er Sheva Museum of art, “and Photo-Maki” in collaboration with Shiri Tarko at ‘STA’ gallery.
