About Daniel Portnoy

Daniel Portnoy is an Israeli Tenor, born in Rehovot, currently studying a Masters degree in singing in the Jerusalem academy of music and dance with Mr. Jeffery Francis and Mr. Duddi Sebba. A regular singer at the “Israeli vocal ensemble” directed by Yuval Ben-ozer. Daniel had performed as a soloist with different choirs at the Abu-gosh Festival, and with “the Jerusalem Baroque orchestra”. He has a bachelor degree in singing from the Buchmann-Mehta school of music in Tel-Aviv university, studying with Mrs. Effrat Ben-nun and Mrs. Raisa Treibich. Daniel is a Recipient of the Sharett grant scholarships for 2018 and 2019. He served in the IDF as an Excelling musician, and is a graduate of “Meitar” children's choir in the Rehovot conservatory, conducted by the late Yehudit Chen.
