Daniel Reich

Daniel Reich was born in Israel in 1995. At the age of 13, Daniel began his classical guitar studies with Mrs. Irit Even-Tov at the High School and the Conservatory of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and he is currently starting his last year of a bachelor’s degree at The Academy.
In 2010, Daniel won the first prize in the national Arian-Yerushalmi-Eldor Classical Guitar Competition for age group 14. In 2012, he won first prize and a special prize for best interpretation of a Spanish piece for the same competition for age group 32. The above-mentioned competition was sponsored by AICF.
Also in 2010, Daniel won the third prize for age group 14 and in 2011 he won second prize for age group 16 in the “Guitar Gems” International Classical Guitar Competition in Netanya.
In 2013 Daniel won the first prize in the Julián Arcas competition for age group 18, which took place in Almeria, Spain. In 2015 he was invited to perform two concerts there, as part of his prize.
Over the years, Daniel took part in masterclasses with well-known guitar artists such as Alvaro Pierri, Rafael Aguirre, Zoran Dukic, Aniello Desiderio, Marco Tamayo, Ricardo Gallen and others.
Daniel has been awarded scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation since 2012.
