Descending from a cantor lineage and a member of the Levy ancient tribe of spiritually elated musicians, she grew upwith a deep passion for music.

Daphna is also a composer, lyricist, arranger and educator
often giving master classes at music schools and academies.
She holds an MA degree in Philosophy.
Daphna collaborated for two decades with Tel Aviv based Hed Big Band, an orchestra with which she toured the US.
Her album Late Night Journey features highly acclaimed tenor sax player Lew Tabackin. The album was recorded in Tel Aviv and NYC with an international band of musicians from the US and Europe.
