David Zvi Kadish

David Zvi Kadish was born in 1999 and raised in Karmiel.
He graduated from the ׳Amit׳ Karmiel high school in June 2017, concentrating in computer science, as well as studying music theory, harmony and history at the regional music major at the Karmiel Music Conservatory.
David Zvi is an America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship recipient for trombone performance, which he has studied for 10 years under the guidance of Vladimir Flaxman at the Karmiel Music Conservatory. In December 2017 he was enlisted in the IDF orchestra as a trombonist.
David Zvi was the principal Trombonist in the Senior National Youth Wind Orchestra since its’ establishment in 2011 through August 2017. He was the founder of the Karmiel Brass Quartet in 2016, for which he has composed original pieces as well as arranging a dozen other works for the ensemble.
He has served until June 2017 as the lead trombonist of the Karmiel Big Band, with which he has been performing since 2010 and he has previously performed with the Western Galilee Symphony Orchestra, Karmiel Music Conservatory wind ensemble and symphony orchestra.
David Zvi has received grants from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation in 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018.
