About Dekel Homossany

Dekel Homossany was born in 1995.

Teacher: Ms. Eva Wasserman-Margolis.
(First teacher was Ms. Tami Regev-Cohen).
School: Thelma-Yellin High School of Arts.


1st prize – 2012 Israeli woodwind competition – Kfar-Saba.
3rd prize – 2012 Paul Ben-Haim Contest – Tel Aviv.
2nd prize – 2011 ICA High School Solo Competition – Los Angeles.
1st prize – 2011 Competition for young musicians – Givattaim.
3rd prize – 2010 ICA High School Solo Competition – Austin Texas.

Scholarships and extra curriculum music studies:

AICF scholarships since 2007.
Ronen Foundation scholarships.
Ministry of Education scholarships.
Participate in the David Goldman program for outstanding young musicians in the Jerusalem Music Centre (JMC).

The first clarinetist in the Thelma Yellin Symphony Orchestra and The Young Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.

Ranana Symphonette Orchestra conducted by Eyal Ein-Habar.
Tel-Aviv Soloists Ensamble conducted by Barak Tal.
The Herzliya Chamber Orchestra conducted by Harvey Bordowits.
Live in Kol Hamusica radio station, The Kfar-Saba Youth Orchestra and in many other events.

Played in several ensembles such as Trio Clarinet-Obo-Bassoon, Wooden vessels Quintet, Trio Violin-Clarinet-Piano, Trio Clarinet-Viola-Piano, Duo Clarinet-Piano and others.
