Dror Binder, an acclaimed Israeli composer based in Vienna, Austria, is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the Centcelles Composition Award for Chamber Music, the Klon Prize, and the Prime Minister Award in Israel for his entire oeuvre. His music, characterized by a deep awareness of influences and references to canonical works and collective memory, has been performed internationally at festivals such as Wien Modern, ARCo, and CEME. Binder collaborates with renowned ensembles like the Kebyart Quartet, the Viennese Volksoper, Ensemble Reconsil, and Ensemble Multilatérale. His work has received support from institutions including the AICF, the Austrian Ministry of Culture, and the City of Vienna.
