Dror Binder

Composer and pianist Dror Binder was born in 1993 in the Galilee, Israel.
Currently living in Vienna and studying at mdw, in the postgraduate program in Composition with professor Judit Varga
Academic history:
Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance, at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Professors: Vadim Monastyrski, Daria Monastyrski, Irina Berkovich
Master’s degree in Composition at Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, and the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Professors: Ayal Adler, Michael Wolpe, Gyula Fekete.
Awards:
National Musician at IDF
AICF “Sharett” – excellence scholarship
Prize winner in the piano competition of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance
Aspen Music Festival – full scholarship
Prize winner – composition competition of the Israel Conservatory of Music & Meitar Ensemble
Winner of the Centcelles Music Composition Award & Kebyart Quartett
