Dror Tidhar

Born in 2006 in Israel, Dror began his piano studies at the age of seven. He currently studies at the prestigious Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv under the guidance of Prof. Asaf Zohar. Previously, he studied at the Israeli Conservatory of Music, also in Tel Aviv, under the guidance of Mrs. Rachel Feinstein.

In recognition of his exceptional talent, Dror was awarded the title of "Outstanding Musician" by the IDF, granting him the privilege to continue his musical education. Dror has participated in international masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Mr. Murray Perahia, Prof. Arie Vardi, Prof. Ronan O’Hora, Prof. Boris Berman, Prof. Jeffrey Swann, Prof. Aviram Reichert, Prof. Claudius Tansky etc. He has also attended the Tel-Hai Piano Masterclasses in Midreshet Ben-Gurion. Additionally, he has been involved in several prestigious programs, including the Gifted Musicians' Program of Israel's Ministry of Education, the Piano Program and David Goldman Chamber Music Program at the Jerusalem Music Center (JMC), and the Aldwell Institute's Master Class Program.

Dror has earned numerous prizes, including First Prize at the 2023 "Danubia Talents" International Competition in Budapest (ages 14-17), as well as Second Prize in the adult category (ages 18-30) in the same year. He is a prizewinner in the 14th and 15th editions of the national "Piano Forever" competition in Ashdod (2022-2023). Since 2022, Dror has been a Creative Excellence scholarship recipient from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation and a scholarship recipient from the Ronen Foundation.
