Eden Meyer Khaiat

Eden Meyer Khaiat was born in the USA in 2002. She studied at Hakfar Ha’yarok IMO Levi Eshkol High School. She played the violin for five years and plays the viola for six years.
Eden was Marina Ziskind’s student for seven years. She was an active player at the Youth Symphony Orchestra in Ra’anana, led by the conductor Prof. Guy Porat. Earlier she played in the string orchestra led by Mrs. Marina Ziskind. Until August 2020 Eden was an active player in the activities of the Jerusalem Music Center: Mishkenot Sha’ananim. She also participated in seminars and workshops and the summer music course of Keshet Eilon. Eden flew to Geneva, Switzerland as a viola player for the Contribution concert for Keren Kayemet Le’Israel in April 2015.
She won the 1st Prize in the Spring Competitions at the Music center, Ra’anana in 2016 and 2017.
Eden is an AICF grant recipient on 2017/2018, 2019/2020.
Eden participates in The Perlman Music Program (PMP) since Spring 2018. Since 2020 Eden participates in the Musethica program. She participated in the AIMS Summer 2019 string Academy. She participated in Masterclasses with Carole Rodland (USA), Irena Svetlova (Russia), Noemie Bialodroba (Switzerland), Yuri Gandelsman (USA/IL), Zvi Carmeli (IL), Tatjana Masurenko (Germany), Molly Carr (USA).
