Egor Menshikov

Egor Menshikov

Born in Russia ,graduated from the Vaganova Academy in Saint Petersburg.
Danced as a Principal dancer in the Polish National Ballet, Croatian National Theater, Israel Ballet and Zurich Ballet. Was part of the international gala ”Les Etoiles du 21ème Siècle“ in Paris 2010.
His repertoire includes all the main classical roles as well as leading roles in works by: Paul Lightfoot and Sol León, William Forsythe, Maurice Béjart, Wayne Eagling ,Derek Deane Frederick Ashton, Christian Spuck, Kryzstof Pastor.
In the past few years choreographed works for Israel’s Ministry of Culture “Curtain up festival” 2017 & 2018, Nes Ziona ballet, Jerusalem Ballet, Encore dance company & many others. His works received applause from public & critics alike.
In 2018 Founded GEM dance company, this unique group of soloist is invited to perform in Israel & abroad in international dance festivals with Menshikov’s works that blend between classical technique & contemporary spirit.
