Ella Talmi

Ella Talmi, Graphic designer, Illustrator and Animator, born in Tel Aviv and raised in the Galilee, Northern Israel.
Ella graduated from the Wizo Haifa Academy of Design and Education with honors and received the Creative Excellence Grant from the America-Israel cultural foundation.
Ella’s love of drawing means that illustration is an inevitable part of her graphic and print work. Through motion and animation, she breathes life into stills characters and, using a diverse array of techniques, creates worlds of imagination and storytelling. Her works are colorful, dynamic and full of content.
Ella’s graduation project, the short animation film ‘Snegurochka’, is a unique story, created with sensitive attention to detail, animation and art, integrating real embroidery craft. Ella is now focusing on exploring the field of animation, as an illustrator, character designer and animator.
