Emily Tauman Madany
Emily Tauman Madany was born in NYC in 2009. She was 3 years old when she moved to Israel with her family.
She started playing the piano when she was 7 years old at the “Israel Music Conservatory” in Tel Aviv where she has studies under her dedicated teacher, Ms. Ifat Zaidel. Emily has participated in several concerts and competitions.
At the age of 8 Emily won the 1st place at the “Golden Key Piano competition”, in 2021 Emily won the 2nd place at the “Pnina Zalzman National Piano Competition” and won encouragement prizes at the “Piano Forever National Competition” in Ashdod in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Since 2021 Emily is also a part of the “Jerusalem Music Center Piano Program” for young, gifted pianists where she takes courses and masterclasses with well known pianists from Israel and all over the world.
In 2022 Emily was identified as gifted and outstanding in the musical field by the Gifted & Talented Division and was chosen to take part in a unique pilot program for nurturing talented musicians.
From September 2022 Emily is a student in the “Classical Music Program” in Hakfar Hayarok Junior High School.
Emily is a recipient of the American-Israel Culture Foundation scholarship for the years 2022-2023
