Eyal Marom

Eyal Marom was born in 1997 in Belgium while his parents were emissaries. The family moved to Israel when I was six months old.
In 2015, he graduated Katzanelson High School in Kfar Saba with honors in Physics, English, Math and Music; he also took a recital in high school. In June 2016, Eyal finished a gap year program at the Rabin Mechina for Young Leadership, and will be entering the IDF this coming November.
Eyal Marom has played classical guitar with Oded Shuv for over 12 years.
In 2008 and 2009 Eyal won the Idud award in a classical guitar competition at the Music Academy in Jerusalem. In 2011 he received third place honors at the same competition and an additional award at a prestigious competition run by the Spanish embassy. In late 2011 he received first place honors in the Classical Guitar Days in the Galilee competition. In 2011 he also received the Idud scholarship for classical guitar. In 2014 he received first place honors in a guitar competition at the Music Academy in Jerusalem, and during that year he took part in Yossi Yerushalmi’s class in Givat Brenner.
In 2016, as part of his preparation for applying for the AICF scholarship, he took part in a concert at the conservatory in Carmiel for students of Oded Shuv.
