Gabriela Gleizer
Gabriela Glazer graduated from the Photography Department at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (BFA).
She is usually interested in documentary photography and social and cultural issues. Gabriela sees the city where she lives in, Jerusalem, as an ideal place to explore the social, cultural, and political aspects, in addition to the historical background of the city, and find great interest in wandering the streets and neighborhoods, meeting people and trying to understand and deepen the complexity that characterizes the city.
Gabriela’s work has been published in Haaretz newspaper, a photography blog of Vogue Italy, an outdoor exhibition in Athens, and more. The annual project she did in her third year at Bezalel, Portraits in Light Rail Stations, was accepted to be exhibited at the 2019 Florence Biennale.
