About ARToday Magazine

Artoday Magazine was initiated by Gili Sitton (b.1984).

Sitton is an art critic and curator. Works as a lecturer, teacher, editor and translator in the Israeli art field.

In 2019 she founded the online art magazine “ARToday” that covers the news, art events and exhibitions in Israel and around the world.

Sitton earned her bachelor degree in fine arts from Bezalel Academy for Art and Design, and a masters degree from the Interdisciplinary Program at the Art Faculty in Tel Aviv University.

In 2019, Gili won the Israeli Ministry of Culture prize for her online artist book “Feminine Performance Art in Israel- Adina Bar On”.

She is currently chief editor at ARToday and chief curator at “Minshar” contemporary art gallery.
