Guillermo Rapoport

Guillermo Rapoport was born in 1941 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Between 1969 and 1971, he studied photography, film, and audiovisual techniques at the Municipal Institute of Visual Arts in Avellaneda City (now a university). In 1973–1974, he traveled to Sydney, Australia, where he photographed Australian life.

He arrived in Israel in 1980, where he continued studying photography, Photoshop, and computers for photographers, as well as ceramics, as part of the Tharsish Educational Program at Kay College in Be’er Sheva.

Over the years, he has traveled and photographed extensively in Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Paris, Prague, Dresden, and California — capturing images from each of these places.
