Guy Aon
Guy Aon
Guy Aon’s current work is the result of a long research process where art, industrial design, and science intersect. He uses art and photography as an inspiration to think of the ways in which images can be turned into objects: pictures can be touched, dressed, used as filters; bodies can be worn. Aon’s work has been presented in 6 solo exhibitions and multiple group exhibitions.
Guy holds a BFA from the Bezalel Art and Design Academy in Jerusalem (2014); completed an exchange program at the Mixed Media Department at The Slade School of Fine Art in London (2013); and recently obtained a Masters in Design also at Bezalel (2019).
His latest performance work “Wearing Photography,” has been featured at the Jerusalem Art Conference at the Van Leer Institute (2020), the Holon Museum of Design (2020), The Israeli Center For Digital Art(2020), Reshet 13 news (2020), the Edmond de Rothschild Foundation (2020), and at Rosenfeld Gallery (2021). Guy is represented by Rosenfeld Gallery (Tel Aviv).
