Guy Woodcock

Born in Israel, Guy Woodcock is a guitarist and guitar teacher living and studying in Berlin. He has won second place in Israel’s national guitar competition at the academy of music and dance, Jerusalem, and received the america-Israel cultural fund scholarship for 4 years.
Guy was accepted to the IDF’s outstanding musician program and then played in the army band for 3 years, during which he performed in front of Israel’s President, Prime Minister and other senior members of government and army. After his army service, Guy continued with his music studies and in 2014 moved to Germany and started studying at the “Hanns Eisler Musikhochschule” in the class of professor Eugenia Kanthou. Guy performs regularly in Berlin and participates in international guitar festivals and events.
