Guy Zeltzer
At the age of four, Guy was captivated by waching a live drummer. His parents decided to nurture his passion by arranging lessons with one of the best drummers in Israel at the time, Gabi Hershkovitz. From there, his journey was accelarating. As a teenager, Guy was already enthusiastic about music production and began performing with indie rock bands. He also studied with another drumming legend, Rony Holan, to enhance his Jazz and Latin skills, AKA “in order to be a good rock drummer, you must be a good jazz drummer.”
In 2013, Guy left Israel and moved to Moscow, where he joined commercial productions and performed at large concerts, attracting crowds of up to 10,000 people. In 2015, he moved to the United States and founded Rock.IL, the leading Israeli cover band in America, which tours among organizations across the country. Guy has also produced backing bands for artists visiting the United States, such as Kobi Aflalo and Ron Rozenfeld (Portrait).
