Haimi Fenichel
Haimi Fenichel was born in Israel (1972) a multidisciplinary artist with a specialization in sculpture. Lives and works in Israel.
B.F.A in Ceramics and Glass Design, Bezalel, Israel.
M.F.A in fine arts at the University of Haifa.
His works deal with the Israeli-Zionist narrative mainly from the field of architecture, the Israeli urban landscape and the accompanying crafts of the building.
His works have been exhibited in major exhibition spaces in Israel and abroad and are located in major public and private collections. In 2005, he won the Rothschild England-Israel Prize. In 2007, he won a Young Artist Award from the Ministry of Education and Culture. In 2008, he won the Goethe-Institus Prize, Bulgaria. In 2014, he won the Ministry of Culture’s Creative Encouragement Award. In 2017, he won the Minister of Culture Prize for fine Arts. In 2017, he won the Discount Bank Creative Encouragement Award. In 2020, he won the Video Art Photography Award at the Indie Short Film Festival, Los Angeles, California.
