Ido Atzmon

Ido Atzmon is a pianist and conductor born in 2007 in Israel.
He began his piano studies at the age of five and a half at the Israeli Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv.
Ido currently studies with Dr. Dror Semmel at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University, where he is a Bachelor׳s Degree student on a full scholarship.

In parallel with his university studies, Ido is also a 12th-grade student at the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts, majoring in classical music with a focus on piano and conducting as part of the conducting class led by Maestro Guy Feder.
Recently Ido was among the first conducting students in Israel to complete a final matriculation exam in orchestral conducting.

Ido has been officially recognized as a Gifted Musician by the Israeli Ministry of Education, a status awarded following a rigorous national selection process for students demonstrating exceptional musical ability. Ido takes part in the Various Programs for outstanding young musicians in the Jerusalem Music Center; The David Goldman Program For Chamber Music And The Outstanding Summer Course׳s Program with Maestro Murray Perahia.

His achievements have been recognized with scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, the Ronen Foundation, and the Buchmann-Heyman Foundation.

Recently, Ido performed and conducted from the piano Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with the Thelma Yellin Symphony Orchestra.
