Iris Budilovsky

Iris Budilovsky was born in 1997 in Israel, into a Russian-speaking artistic family, who immigrated to Israel in the early 90’s. She began her violin studies at the age of 7 with her teacher who was then known as Inna Isakov. At the age of 12 she began studying in the class of Elena Mazor in the Israel Conservatory of music in Tel Aviv. Currently She studies in the Buchman-Mehta School of music in the Tel Aviv University for the bachelor degree in the class of Elena Mazor.
She participated in masterclasses with such artists as Qian Zhou, Grigory Kalinovsky, Ani Schnarch, Itzhak Rashkovsky, Enrico Gatti, Roi Shiloah, Miriam Fried, Sergio Schwartz and others.
She took part in the YIPO courses (2012-2015), the International Early Music seminar in Tel Aviv (2014) and in the New Virtuosi international violin mastercourse in Duino, Italy (2017).
She was granted the second place (2011) and the third place (2014) at the Israel Conservatory Scholarship Competition, and was a recipient of the AICF scholarships for the years 2011/2012 and 2017/2018.
