Itai Agmon

Supported by AICF Scholarships from 2011-2018, Itai Agmon is the principal tubist of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra since 2019. He had held the same position with the Minnesota Opera orchestra for 4 seasons.
Itai regularly tours with the West Eastern Divan orchestra (Daniel Barenboim) and previously with the Pacific Music Festival orchestra (Valery Gergiev).
Itai has performed as a soloist with the Israel Camerata Jerusalem under the baton of Lahav Shani (2013). He had also served in the IDF Band (2011-2014). During that time, he was an avid freelancer for most regional orchestras across Israel.
Itai graduated from Indiana University in 2018 with distinction (Performer’s Certificate). Currently on the faculty of the Jerusalem Academy of Music & Dance, Itai regularly gives masterclasses in Israel & abroad.
