Jannat Amara

Jannat Amara (b.1994) grew up in Zalafa village, in Israel’s Haifa District. She completed her B.Ed in art and education at Oranim Academic Collage. At the final exhibition of her art studies (2017) she received a scholarship for Excellency.
Jannat is a Multidisciplinary artist; doing Video Art, photography, installation art, figurative and realistic painting and drawing.
Recently, her works reflect ironically the shocking reality of violence against women, especially domestic hidden violence in Arab society, which could be physical violence, emotional and verbal abuse. In addition, her works explorer her identity as an Islamic, Arabian, Palestinian and Israeli Artist Woman that live in Arabian society that is more conservative than religious, and through social demands and gender oppression.
