Jasmin Halfon was born in Chicago in 2001 and came to Israel at the age of 3 months . 2016 marks her 10th year of playing the violin. She studies with Dr. Guy Figer at the Israel Conservatory of Music in Tel-Aviv.
Jasmin played as a soloist with “Orpheus” ensemble at 2014 at the Nazereth Music center, “Alicante University Orchestra” and the at the Intergenerational Orchestra of Hod-Hasharon at 2016. She participates in the Ilona Feher Program for exceptionally gifted young Violinists, as well as the David Goldman Program for chamber music, both run by the Jerusalem Music Center.
Jasmin participated in master classes with Violinists Prof. Irena Svetlova , Prof. Hagai Shaham, Prof. Gregory Klivanovski. Mr. Daniel Heifetz, Mr. Itai Shapira and Prof. Miriam Fried. Jasmin won a scholarship at the competition of the Israel conservatory of music and is the recipient of the American Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship for Violin.
