Jenny Aglits
Jenny was born in Ukraine. She immigrated to Israel with her family in 1998. Jenny attended Shenkar College of Art, Engineering and Design and graduated with bachelors degree at Multidisciplinary Art Department. She specializes in painting. Jenny is interested in creating an image where destruction and construction live together. From the sights of areas that are currently at war and disaster, she is trying to create a process of reverse archeology. Jenny not digs but builds on the ruins, to create a world by a multi-layer technique of color surfaces.
While at Shenkar, Jenny participated in several joint art exhibitions with other young artists. In 2016, she took part in the “Human Connections” exhibition on behalf of the “Mizrahi Bank”. In 2017, she took part in the final exhibition of Shenkar College. Further, in 2017 Jenny is planning to present at the exhibition called “Innovation” organized by Electra. She is a 2017 AICF grant recipient.
In 2018 Jenny participated in Fresh Pain 10 Art Fair. This year fair took place at the Tel Aviv convention center. Jenny also took part in an exhibition called “Heart”, which is held at the Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital, Heart Surgery Department, till 2020. From July to September 2018, ZUZU Gallery is hosting a group exhibition called “Archeology Now”, in which Jenny also presented her works.
