Joshua is a film, television and stage actorת born in Queens NY in 1979. Both of his parents migrated from Israel separately and met in the U.S.
Joshua studied acting for film at the New York Film Academy and also separately studied Improv comedy. His Improv comedy troupe “The Sample Platter” were featured guests at the 2007 Toronto International Improv Festival. In 2008 Joshua participated in the famed 48hour film festival where he was part of the feature short “Lyre Liar”, which went on to win best film, best acting, best director and audience choice awards.
His acting work ranges from the light hearted simpleton to the very dark. He has an Independent Feature Film competing on the festival circuit (Blue Collar Boys) in which he plays the supporting character “Mason”. “Blue Collar Boys” won Best Micro Budget Feature at the Toronto Independent Film Festival and is continuing its successful tour before distribution.
Joshua can been seen playing the title character (Andrew Didonato) in Discovery Channels episodic mafia themed docudrama television show titled “Mobster Confessions”.
