Ken Goldman
Ken Goldman
Ken Goldman (1960, United States; aliyah 1985) is an artist who works in a variety of media. His artworks directly respond to the unique: political religious and physical sides of Israel. Ken’s works have a special emphasis on the kibbutz and its complicated nature, which he knows intimately as a kibbutz member for over thirty years. Goldman uses everyday experiences as a starting point, framed instances that would go unnoticed in their original context. With a conceptual approach, he tries to approach a wide scale of subjects in a multi-layered way.
Ken Goldman shows extensively both in Israel and abroad- currently showing in a solo show in the new Philadelphia – Rodeph Shalom Museum.
