Liat Elbling

b.1980, Ramat Gan, Israel; lives and works in Tel Aviv.
In 2009, she graduated with honors from Minshar School of Art in Tel Aviv. Her work has been displayed in numerous solo and group exhibitions at leading Israeli and international venues, including: Museum of Israeli Art, Ramat Gan, Israel (2011); Tel Aviv Museum of Art, (2011, 2017); Haifa Museum of Art, Haifa, Israel (2012); Kasher|Potamkin Gallery, New York (2014); Julie M. Gallery, Tel Aviv (2015); Artelli Gallery, Antwerp, Belgium (2016); Catherine Edelman Gallery, Chicago (2017); Rosenfeld Gallery, Tel Aviv (2018); and more.
Liat won the Leon Constantiner Photography Award for an Israeli Artist, Tel Aviv Museum of Art (2011); Sotheby’s Under the Hammer Award, Fresh Paint Art Fair, Tel Aviv (2013); a scholarship for studies in the Amitim program, Alma College for Hebrew Culture, Tel Aviv (2013-2015); and a grant to produce this artist’s book from Mifal Hapais, Israel National Lottery Council for Culture and the Arts (2018).
