Liat Lidor

Born in Israel, Liat graduated from Buchmann-Mehta School of Music of Tel Aviv University. During her studies she sang the role of Adele in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss) and Najade in Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss).
Liat is a member of the Israeli Opera’s Meitar Opera Studio where her repertoire includes Pamina in Die Zauberflote, Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Gretel in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck) and Clorinda in La Cenerentola (Rossini).
Her operatic repertoire includes the role of Pamina in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart) with the Orchestra ‘Europa Musica’ conducted by Uri Segal in Perugia Music Festival (Italy), Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart) with ADADs opera studio in Milano, Zerlina in Don Giovanni (Mozart) with the Greek Opera Studio in The Festival of the Aegean, Adina in l’elisir d’amore (Donizetti) in Italy and at Jeunesses Musicales Festival in Croatia conducted by the General Music Director of the Hungarian State Opera House, Balázs Kocsár.
Her oratorio repertoire includes the Requiem by Mozart, Carmina Burana (Orff) with the Israel chamber Orchestra conducted by Yoav Talmi and with the Buchman Mehta orchestra conducted by Ronen Burshevsky, as well as Missa Brevis (Haydn). At Abu gosh festival she sang in the Baroque operas Nabucco and La Purpura de la Rosa with Ensemble PHOENIX.
Liat is a recipient of the Israel-America Cultural Foundation scholarships between the years 2012-2015 and received the Dean’s Excellence scholarship from Tel Aviv University in 2015.
