About Lidor Ram Mesika

Lidor Ram Mesika, Countertenor and Baritone, was born in Israel.
Currently Lidor studies at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in two disciplines: in the Vocal department under Ms. Anat Efrati and Dr. Zvi Semel and in the Composition department under Prof. Haim Permont and Prof. Ari Ben-Shabetai.

Lidor won the 1st prize in the “Paul Ben-Haim” competition in 2020 and 2022.
Lidor achieved the status of “Outstanding Musician” in the IDF. He is a Grant awardee (summa cum laude) of AICF since 2018 and has been supported by Ronen Foundation since 2019.

Lidor has performed the roles of: Count Almaviva in “Le Nozze Di Figaro” and Papageno in “Die Zauberflöte” by Mozart, Melisso in Handel's “Alcina”, Dancaïre in “Carmen”(Bizet) and Silvano in “La Calisto” by Cavalli. Lidor sang with Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra, The Barrocade Orchestra, Meitar Ensemble, the Israeli Opera and others.

Lidor sings around the world as the soloist of three different ensembles: “Los Ladinos Ensemble” (an ensemble Lidor founded which aims to revive the Jewish Sephardic culture), ‘ The TLV Arab-Jewish Orchestra’ and ‘Mariachi Jerusalem’.

Lidor is a graduate of the Netanya Conservatory and Nitzan Choir under Ms. Vita Gurevich and a graduate of the program for outstanding young singers in the Jerusalem Music Center. He also participated in Tel Aviv Summer Opera Program in the years 2019 and 2022.
He conducts his own choir which takes place in Jaffa Music Center.
