Lior Halili

Lior was born in 1997. She started playing the oboe at the age of nine with Omri Raveh at the Kiryat-Ono Music Conservatory. She graduated from “Ironi Alef” in Tel Aviv, where she majored in music. Today she is serving in the Israeli Defense Forces orchestra while studying with Dudu Carmel.
Lior was a participant of the “David Goldman program for young excellent musicians” for three years, there she received chamber music lessons. In addition, she was a part of the “Youth Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra” six times, which is an orchestral and chamber music course. With both programs she performed at Charles Bronfman Auditorium, Jerusalem’s Henry Crown Hall and Felicia Blumenthal center.
Lior has taken part “Domaine Forget” in Canada, where she played solo and chamber music and had masterclasses with Pedro Diaz, Stefan Schilli and Normand Forget.
Since 2013 Lior has received scholarships from the “America-Israel Cultural Foundation”. She also got a scholarship from the Keynote program in 2012.
