Lior Ouziel

Lior Ouziel, born in Israel in 1992. Lior began his musical studies in Ashdod, as a piano student. At the age of 15 he decided to switch to harp and began studying with harpist Irena Kaganovsky. At 16, he transferred to the harp class of Prof. Marian Schwartzbart who guided his studies at the Israel Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv and later on at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance where he is presently finishing the Master degree.
Lior Ouziel was awarded the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship, the Jerusalem Academy President Award and Jerusalem Academy Chamber Music Competition Award. He won the first prize at the First Israel Harp Competition in 2011. He performed as soloist with New Haifa Symphony Orchestra and in numerous chamber concerts and broadcasting events.
In addition to his studies, Lior took part in the master classes given by Marielle Nordmann, Susanna Klincharova, Sivan Magen and Florence Sitruk.
