Lital Rubinstein
Born in 1989, Lital Rubinstein lives and works in Tel-Aviv.
She graduated with honors from the Multidisciplinary Art Department at Shenkar (2016), Ramat Gan, Israel. She attended an exchange program at École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD), Paris. Lital specializes in a vast array of media such as printing, sculpting, video art and installations.
Lital confronts her Israeli identity, the intricate component of fear that is part of it. Soldiers, apocalyptic scenes are haunting some of her pieces. A significant part of her work investigate the feeling of fear through all its forms: from a panic attack to a vague sensation of anxiety. Her work fluctuates between the simple depiction of those fears, the pondering of its adverse consequences, and the research of an imaginary shelter.
