Loor Jabareen
Loor Jabareen is a young violinist who has been studying her instrument since she was six years old.
Loor has been performing as a soloist at Keshet Eilon seminars since 2016, and has received multiple scholarships. She has also participated in the Perlman Genesis program with Mr. Itzhak Perlman and Ms. Areta Zhulla at the Israel Music Conservatory.
In 2019, Loor studied with Mr. William Barbini and became a member of the Davis Young Artists Chamber Ensemble. She won the Gold Medal Award at the State Solo and Ensemble Festival in Sacramento. In addition, Loor performed as a soloist in the Mondavi Hall in Davis, California.
In January 2023, Loor performed with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra as part of the Mafteach Program. In the summer of 2023, Loor participated in the Perlman Music Program summer school, where she studied with teachers such as Ms. Catherine Cho, Mr. Li Lin, and maestro Itzhak Perlman.
Loor participated in the spring and winter residencies of the Perlman Program which took place in Tel Aviv (Israel) and Sarasota (Florida).
After her acceptance to the Jerusalem Music Centre’s programs (The Young Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, David Goldman Program, and international masterclasses course for string players) Loor participated in the Bronisalv Huberman music festival in Germany in October 2023 where she studied with Boris Garlitsky. There she performed in the Soloists of the Young Philharmonic concert at the Jerusalem Music Centre.
Loor values the importance of chamber music and is a graduate of the Music and Society seminar, where she gained experience in playing with trios and string quartets.
Loor is the first violinist of the Crisentemi Quartet, which recently participated in the Zeister Muziekdagen festival in the Netherlands and performed in a series of concerts across Israel.
