MaGroove

Magrove is a collective of musicians who play the best Moroccan and Algerian Sha’abi songs and North African compositions in special and rhythmic arrangements, composed by the Andalusian music Maestro Elad Levy.
The 12 member collective can also perform in smaller ensembles of at least seven musicians. The full ensemble performs with traditional instruments such as kamanja (Moroccan violin), oud, ney (oriental flute) accompanied by the rhythm of the bass, drums and electric guitar, and three singers who sing in Moroccan and Algerian. The collective performs at festivals throughout Israel inspiring thousands of people to dance and relate to the music.
