Born in St Petersburg, Russia, Maria Neishtadt graduated from St Petersburg State Conservatory ‘Rimsky Korsakov’ as a pianist. She studied organ and harpsichord for a long period and focused on the baroque period in music.
Maria performed as a pianist, chamber ensemblist, organist, and harpsichordist in Russia, Israel, China, and Europe.
Maria now lives in Tel Aviv, Israel.
She performs as a concert pianist, harpsichordist, organist. Works as a piano teacher, vocal coach, piano accompanist. Organises, together with a group of colleagues, educational concert series for adults and children. Recently, she performed as a silent movie organ illustrator.
