About Maximilian Korkhin

Maximilian Korchin was born in Israel on 9/10/1997.
At age six he began studying violin. At the age of 10 and to this day, he attended lessons with Professor Yelena Mazur.

These days Maximilian attends academic studies at the Academy of Music at the Buchmann-Mehta institution, at Tel Aviv University. Recently he joined the IDF under the “Oustanding Musician” status.

During the month of August in the years 2010 and 2011, he played at the “Citta di Lucca” Chamber music festival in Italy. In May 2016, he performed with the orchestra of “Soloists of Tel Aviv” conducted by Barak Tal.

Maximilian won the competition for young violinists “Tel Aviv 2010” (second place) in category A.

He has won AICF scholarships for the years: 2011/2012, 2013/2014 and 2015/2016.
