May Amano

May Amano was born in 2001 in Netanya, Israel. At the age of 12, she started dancing classical and contemporary ballet in Rakdanit studio under Danit Bucksbaum.
In 2017 Amano was granted a scholarship by the AAB (American Academy of Ballet) in New York. A year later she competed at RAD scholarship day and finished third. She was granted scholarship to the summer course in the Israel Ballet as well as a scholarship by AICF.
Over the last four years, Amano had a few performances – including one in the Youth American Grand Prix 2018 at Barcelona and part of a group performance at the Mia Arbatova Gala at Suzanne Dallal Center in Tel Aviv.
