Maya Avisar

Maya Avisar is a performer/producer originally from Kiryat Ono, Israel, currently based in New York City. An alumni of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Maya performed on many New York City stages as a musical theatre performer and a solo singer, and has been producing work to promote international artists with the Alliance of Alien Artists, an organization which she founded in 2018.
Some of Maya’s performing credits include: ‘Broadway Around the World’ at The Green Room 42 and ‘Aliens Off Broadway’ at Left by HaSalon with the Alliance of Alien Artists, iDiva with the Israeli Artists Project, ‘The Startup Culture’ at The PIT, ‘The Angry Snowbird’ with American Theatre of Actors, and ‘On the Spot’ at the Broadway Comedy Club.
Maya’s producing credits include: ‘The American Dream: A Story of Two Crazy Broke Asians’ at The duplex, ‘Broadway Around the World’ at The Green Room 42 and ‘Aliens Off Broadway’ at Left by HaSalon, all with the Alliance of Alien Artists.
Maya is the first recipient of the Scott Glascock scholarship from The Lambs theatrical club, 2018.
